Concealed Handgun Permit Information
Below is a listing of each of the surrounding counties and some of the key pieces needed to begin the permit process.
Adams County:
- Hours: Applications are accepted without an appointment but only on the days and during the hours shown. Tuesdays 8:00am - 12:00pm & Thursdays 12:00pm - 4:00pm
- Location: Adams County Sheriff's Office Headquarters 332 North 19th Avenue Brighton, CO
- Fees: One Single Payment (includes CBI fees) of $152.50 (Cashier's Check, Money Order, Cash, or Personal Check)
- Notarize or Sign in Person: Applications should be unsigned. When presented, the Adams County Sheriff's Office will notarize the application.

Arapahoe County:
- Hours: Applications are accepted without an appointment but only on the days and during the hours shown. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Location: Administration Building located at 13101 East Broncos Parkway Centennial, CO.
- Fees: Two seperate payments: CBI Fees $52.50 (Cashiers Check or Money Order) Sheriff Fees $100 (Cashier's Check, Money Order, Cash, or Personal Check)
- Notarize or Sign in Person: DO NOT SIGN YOUR APPLICATION UNTIL YOU PRESENT IT TO THE DEPUTY SHERIFF OR DESIGNEE

Denver County:
- Hours: YOU MUST HAVE A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Appointments will be scheduled during the hours of 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Appointment line: (720) 913-6836.
- Location: Denver Police Department Administrative Building- 1331 Cherokee St. Denver, CO.
- Fees: Two seperate payments: CBI Fees $52.50 (Cashiers Check or Money Order) Sheriff Fees $100 (Cashier's Check or Money Order)
- Notarize or Sign in Person: DO NOT SIGN YOUR APPLICATION UNTIL YOU PRESENT IT TO THE POLICE OFFICER AT YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.

Douglas County:
- Hours: Applications are accepted only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (not including legal holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Location: Robert A. Christensen Justice Center, 4000 Justice Way Castle Rock, CO.
- Fees: One Single Payment (includes CBI fees) of $152.50 (Cashier's Check, Money Order, Cash, Personal Check, or Visa* or Mastercard* (no other credit/debit cards accepted). *Credit card payments will be charged an additional non-refundable convenience fee of $4.20
- Notarize or Sign in Person: Do not sign the application until asked to do so by the sheriff’s office staff member receiving it from you.

El Paso County:
- Hours: CONCEALED HANDGUN PERMITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call (719) 520-7249 for your appointment.
- Location: 101 West Costilla Street Colorado Springs, CO.
- Fees: $60.00 to the sheriff’s office (cash, check, money order or cashier’s check), $52.50 to CBI (MONEY ORDER OR CASHIER’S CHECK ONLY)

Jefferson County:
- Hours: Applications are accepted Monday - Friday (except holidays) 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

- Fees: One Single Payment (includes CBI fees) of $125.00 (Cashier's Check, Money Order, Cash, or Visa / Mastercard)
